About Jenni
While in graduate school I worked as a speech therapy assistant in the schools. I have years experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient therapy services, a comprehensive traumatic brain injury program, long-term care, hospitals and home health. During this time I have additionally worked as a rehab director and graduate student supervisor. I assisted in developing a speech therapy manual for one employer and helped develop the cognitive based portion of the speech therapy program for the Rehab Institute of Washington’s Brain Injury Program.
I am certified in Vital Stim therapy for Dysphagia for Adults and trained in Speak Out Loud, a voice program for people with Parkinson’s disease. I am certified in PROMPT Level I and II Training used with children with apraxia of speech and articulation deficit. I am also a certified brain injury specialist and specialize in training both children and adults in the area of executive function and auditory processing.
All clients have individualized care plans based on their goals and needs. I am passionate about learning, teaching and attaining positive outcomes for my clients.
